Katie Monat is a seasoned professional in athletic training and healthcare, currently serving as a Physician Extender and Clinical Assistant at Barrington Orthopedic Specialists since August 2021. Prior to this role, Katie spent six years at Township High School District 214 as Athletic Trainer Supervisor, managing medical coverage for 30 sports programs and collaborating with coaches and parents on athlete injuries. Additionally, Katie has experience as an Athletic Trainer at Athletico and as a Student Athletic Trainer at the University of Arkansas and Valparaiso University. Katie holds a Master of Athletic Training from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Valparaiso University.
