Lisa Pennell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lisa currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Barry Plant Real Estate since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at the same company from December 2022 to June 2023.
In 2020, Lisa founded their own company called Lisa Pennell & Associates Pty Ltd, where they serve as the Director. This company specializes in providing strategic consulting, reputation protection, crisis management, PR, marketing strategies, and training services to businesses of all sizes.
From 2021 to 2022, Lisa assumed the role of Chief Operations Officer at Harcourts Real Estate. During their tenure, they led the Australian team and spearheaded significant value offering upgrades for over 600 franchisees across the country.
Lisa's experience in the real estate industry also includes their time as the Head of Marketing at Ray White from 2018 to 2020. Lisa was responsible for leading a team and overseeing communications, PR, marketing, customer experience, and social initiatives.
Prior to that, Lisa worked as a National PR Manager at Ray White from 2002 to 2004. Lisa also served as a Director at UtilityOne Pty Ltd from 2001 to 2002, where they played a key role in negotiating endorsements from major real estate brands.
Lisa's earlier career includes roles such as Head of Mobile Product at Infochoice from 2000 to 2001, State Manager at Mobiletronics Limited from 1999 to 2000, and State Manager and Store Manager at Fone Zone from 1995 to 1999.
Throughout their career, Lisa has demonstrated their expertise in leadership, marketing, operations, strategy, and team management.
Lisa Pennell attended Brisbane Girls Grammar School for an unspecified period of time. Lisa then went on to study at The University of Queensland, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in 1990.
