Carol Jones is a senior consultant and has been self-employed since August 2015. Currently, Carol serves in government and community relations at BART since January 2018. Carol's governmental experience includes retiring from the City of Oakland in January 2017 and previously serving as a special assistant to Oakland Deputy Mayor Sandre Swanson from December 2012 to January 2014. Prior to these roles, Carol was the district director for Assemblymember Sandre Swanson from December 2006 to December 2012 and operated a full-service travel agency, Union Street Travel, from January 1990 to April 2005. Carol holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from San Francisco State University, obtained between 1969 and 1973.
