Rob McQueen

Rob McQueen is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Cybersecurity at BART since March 2023, Rob oversees IT cyber programs and supports BART police technology. In addition, Rob has been an Adjunct Instructor at Shasta College since January 2017, teaching courses in Computer Information Systems, Linux+, and Security+. Previous roles include Cyber Security Officer for the City of Redding, Information Security Officer/Director at California State University, Chico, and VP Information Security Officer at Merchants Bank of Commerce. Rob possesses a strong background in cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance. Educational qualifications include a BA in Sociology from California State University, Chico, and an MS in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University.
