Tonya Love

Tonya Love currently serves as the Principal of Government and Community Relations at BART, a position held since December 2024. Previously, Love was the Chief of Staff for District 3 City Councilmember Carroll Fife in Oakland from January 2021 to December 2024 and worked as a Campaign Coordinator for the Carroll Fife For Oakland City Council campaign in late 2020. Prior experience includes serving as the District Director for Assemblymember Rob Bonta, focusing on community relations and policy areas such as housing and education. Love has also held roles in health equity and program coordination, including positions at The Greenlining Institute and various health-related initiatives. Educational background includes study at the University of California, Berkeley.
