Jon Gillie is a seasoned technical manager and lighting design expert with extensive experience in live event production. Since May 2011, Jon has served as the Technical Manager at the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts, overseeing events at both the McCoy Center and Hinson Amphitheater. Alongside this role, Jon has also worked as a lighting designer and programmer for multiple companies, including Bartha, Mills James, Markey's Rental and Staging, and L!VE, specializing in the setup and programming of lighting for live events. Previous positions include lighting technician roles at LIVE! Technologies, LLC, and La Comedia Dinner Theatre, as well as serving as an audio engineer and head sound and lighting technician for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Jon holds an Associate of Science degree in Show Production and Touring from Full Sail University.
