Tim Jones

Tim Jones has over 30 years of work experience in the education field. Tim began their career in 1992 as a Teacher/Coach at Memphis City Schools and later moved to Shelby County Schools in 1996, where they served as a Teacher/Coach and then as a Mathematics Supervisor. In 2013, Tim joined Bartlett HS as a Vice-Principal and then became the Principal of Bartlett High School in 2014. Tim currently holds the position of Executive Director of Athletics and School Support at Bartlett City Schools since 2023.

Tim Jones attended Gordo High School from 1983 to 1986. Tim then went on to the University of Memphis, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Science from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued further education at The University of Memphis and completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Leadership and Policy Studies from 2011 to 2014.
