Mary Pat Gallagher

Mary Pat Gallagher is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in commercial litigation, labor and employment law, and legal research. Currently serving as Counsel at Barton Gilman LLP since October 2022, Gallagher has held multiple partner positions at prestigious firms, including Schoeman Updike Kaufman & Stern LLP and Gerber & Partners LLP. Gallagher's legal career began in the early 1990s with roles as a Law Clerk for the New Jersey Governor's Commission on Discrimination in Public Works Procurement and as a Legal Extern for the New Jersey Attorney General’s Division of Civil Rights. Gallagher also worked as a Senior Economist at the United States Department of Agriculture, focusing on dairy industry research.
