Lara R.

Lara R. is currently a Clinical Research Assistant at Barwon Health, where the focus is on conducting psychological assessments aligned with the DSM. As a PhD Candidate at the Institute for Mental and Physical Health and Clinical Translation and a Student Researcher at BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, Lara R. is involved in researching parent behaviors and youth eating pathology, with a manuscript currently in progress. Previous roles include positions as a staff writer for The Ubyssey Publications Society, Student Researcher in the Laboratory of Behavioural Neuroendocrinology at The University of British Columbia, and Research Assistant in various capacities, including work on perinatal anxiety and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. Lara R. holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Behavioural Neuroscience from The University of British Columbia and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at Deakin University.
