Paul Horkan

Paul manages a range of finance, accounting, and asset management tasks related to the various business verticals at BAS Holdings. He is a dynamic finance and accounting professional, currently serving as a Senior Associate. With over a year of experience in private equity and a background in corporate accounting, Paul has a proven ability to drive financial growth and manage operations effectively. In his role, Paul is accountable for compiling and evaluating financial information, maintaining accurate account records, executing transactions, conducting data analysis, and executing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects.

Before joining BAS, Paul worked on the finance team at FairWind, Inc. where he was responsible for the full-cycle accounting duties for operations in both the United States & Canada. During his tenure as a graduate student, he completed various internships in Human Resources, Marketing, and Private Wealth Management, allowing him to develop a more holistic understanding of how various functions of business operate.

Paul earned a bachelor’s degree (BA) from Western Connecticut State University in Political Science & International Relations, where he also served as the Student Body President of his graduating class. In May of 2021, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from his alma mater. His concentration in graduate school was in the area of Financial Analysis & Investments. In his free time, Paul enjoys playing tennis, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
