Frederik Sørensen

Frederik Sørensen has a diverse work experience in the field of statistics and data analysis. Frederik started their career as a Student Assistant at the University of Copenhagen in 2016, where they assisted with statistical analysis of data from various departments. In 2017, they became a Research Assistant at the University of Copenhagen's Section of Biostatistics, where they performed statistical analyses for PhD students in medicine and human biology.

Frederik then joined the University of Oxford in 2018, where they held various teaching positions. Frederik worked as a Non-stipendiary Lecturer at St Hugh's College, teaching Statistics and conducting undergraduate interviews. Frederik also worked as a Tutor at St Edmund Hall, teaching Statistics and Data Analysis.

In 2019, Frederik became a Statistical Consultant at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. In this role, they advised on and performed statistical analyses for groups of doctors at hospitals in Copenhagen. This included working on a multicenter, triple-blind, randomized clinical trial that was accepted in the Annals of Surgery.

From 2021 to 2022, Frederik worked as a Consultant at BASE life science, before transitioning to their current role as a Senior Data Scientist at the same company in June 2022.

Throughout their career, Frederik has gained expertise in a wide range of statistical methods and analysis techniques, including survival analysis, mixed models, and statistical consulting.

Frederik Sørensen completed their education in a chronological order. Frederik started by attending Roskilde Katedralskole from 2008 to 2011, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry during their high school years. Following this, they enrolled at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at the same institution from 2015 to 2017, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Statistics. Finally, Frederik Sørensen furthered their education at the prestigious University of Oxford, from 2017 to 2021, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Statistics.
