Mauricio Cruz

Mauricio Cruz is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in managing security operations and incident response teams. Currently serving as the CyberSOC & CSIRT Manager at BASE4 Security since August 2015, Mauricio has successfully developed and leads a business unit providing 24x7 SOC and CSIRT services, overseeing a portfolio of 10 services and managing a team of 50 individuals catering to over 35 global clients. Prior to this, Mauricio acted as SOC Leader and Senior Information Security Engineer at BASE4 Security, where responsibilities included managed detection and response services, as well as research and development of innovative security solutions. Mauricio's earlier experience includes a role as a Network Security Engineer at Itaú Argentina, where responsibilities encompassed managing network security platforms and dynamic routing. Mauricio holds a degree in Information Systems Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, earned between 2011 and 2016.
