Basel Tourismus
Jonas Scharf currently serves as the COO Switzerland at MCH Swiss Exhibition Ltd. since December 2023 and is a Board Member of EMECA. With a strong background in the exhibition and tourism sectors, Jonas holds positions on the Board of Directors for Basel Tourismus and the ICCA Venue Chapter, as well as being a long-standing member of the BioValley Basel Board since 2005. Previous roles include Managing Director for Venues Switzerland at MCH Group and the Congress Center Basel. Additionally, Jonas contributed to the advisory board of PCMA and served as Treasurer and Board Member for AIPC. Jonas holds a MAS in Marketing from the University of Basel and has received training from SAWI and SHL Hotelfachschule Luzern.
