Letizia Elia currently serves as CEO of Basel Tourismus since August 2022, following a notable tenure as Head of Business Development and a member of the Management Board at Switzerland Tourism from June 2018 to July 2022. Prior to these roles, Letizia held significant positions at MCH Group, including Deputy Managing Director and Head of Business Development at Congress Center Basel between December 2007 and May 2018, and worked as Manager of Business Development at Deutsche Post und DHL from June 2006 to November 2007. Letizia holds an EMBA from FHNW Basel and EBS, as well as a diploma in sales coordination from SAWI and a translation degree in German, Italian, and French from the Schule für Angewandte Linguistik.
