Bola Malek

Bola Malek is a skilled engineer with diverse experience in software development and engineering roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Forward Deployed Engineer at Baseten since June 2022, Bola previously held the position of Lead Prototype Engineer at Rivian from July 2021 to June 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant in the Julia Lab at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory from January to June 2021, and a Research Assistant in the Matterwaves Lab at the University of California, Berkeley from 2017 to 2019. Bola started a career in software engineering at Google from 2015 to 2017 and worked at ThirdWayv Inc. from 2014 to 2015. Bola holds a Master of Science in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
