Geert Vercruysse

Geert Vercruysse has extensive experience in process safety and project management, currently serving as Head of Process Safety Excellence and Project Director at BASF from July 2014 to November 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing the EO & Derivatives Expansion Project in Antwerp and coordinating the FeedFlex Project. Additionally, Geert Vercruysse worked as a Process Safety Engineer, providing consultancy for various acquisitions in the Netherlands. Since October 2010, Geert Vercruysse has also held the position of Professor of Process Safety Engineering & Operations at KULeuven.
