Jesus Zuniga

Jesus Zuniga is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in agricultural research and development, currently serving as the Head of Agricultural Research Station (Global) at BASF since August 2010. Responsibilities include managing the global research station in Utrera, Spain, and transforming it into a center for agri-innovation. Previous roles at BASF span R&D Sub-Region Manager, Strategic Regional Marketing Manager for Latin America, and various positions focused on herbicides and biotechnology. Prior to BASF, Jesus Zuniga contributed to technical sales support and demand market development at Agricola Agrial & Valagro and held a role as R&D principal agronomist at Florica Farms. Academic credentials include an Executive Coach degree from The International School of Coaching, an MBA in Commercial Planning and Business Management, and a Bachelor's in Agronomy Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica.
