Katrin Friese

Katrin Friese is the Vice President of Catalysis Research at BASF, where they oversee cutting-edge research initiatives. They have held several key roles within BASF, including Vice President of Process Catalysis R&D and Director of Operational Excellence in both Asia Pacific and Europe. Katrin's extensive experience began as a Research Engineer in Process Development and progressed through various managerial positions, including Plant Manager and Head of Research. They earned a Diplom-Ingenieur from the University of Dortmund and a PhD in Thermodynamics from the same institution.
