Kian Molawi

Kian Molawi is a Senior Laboratory Team Leader at BASF, where they focus on R&D for the lubricant industry. Previously, Kian served as a Laboratory Team Leader at BASF from 2011 to 2017, specializing in biodegradable and antibiotic polymers. Kian completed a postdoctoral fellowship at ICIQ from 2008 to 2010, concentrating on homogeneous gold catalysis, and another postdoc at the University of Münster in collaboration with BASF in 2010-2011. Kian holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, obtained between 2004 and 2008, and a Diploma in Chemistry from Philipps-Universität Marburg, earned from 1998 to 2003. Kian also studied Theoretical Chemistry at Cambridge University in 2001-2002.
