Klaus Nunemacher

Klaus Nunemacher is an experienced professional in the tunneling and construction industry, currently serving as Technical Engineering Services Manager and Asset Manager at BASF since April 2019. Previously, Klaus worked as a Project Engineer and Equipment Manager at Atkinson Construction from March 2016 to March 2019, managing the East Link E330 Downtown Bellevue Tunnel project for Sound Transit. Klaus's career at Kiewit spanned from June 2008 to February 2016, where roles included Superintendent on the Rondout West Branch Tunnel for NYCDEP, Estimator responsible for over $65M in project scope at the Kiewit Underground District Office, and several other positions related to tunnel construction and project management. Klaus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering with a minor in Explosives Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, completed in 2008.
