Kristen Pforr

Kristen Pforr possesses extensive experience in operations management within the chemical industry, notably serving as Vice President of Operations for Care Chemicals and Chemical Intermediates at BASF from 2015 to 2023. In these roles, Kristen oversaw multiple manufacturing sites and a process development laboratory, supporting a substantial sales volume of $1 billion while achieving significant improvements in employee engagement and process safety. Additionally, Kristen chaired the BASF North America Manufacturing Community Steering Committee, facilitating collaboration among 11 divisions. Earlier experience includes leadership positions at Celanese, where Kristen managed operations, engineering, and safety performance, and successfully navigated a major site divestiture. Kristen holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University.
