Yuko Miyata

Yuko Miyata has extensive experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and sustainability, currently serving as Global Process Owner Sustainability & EHS at BASF Agricultural Solutions since February 2019. In this role, Yuko leads the optimization of global EHS and sustainability processes within the Process Excellence Team. Prior to this, Yuko held positions such as Senior Manager for Project Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability at BASF, guiding corporate sustainability strategies in alignment with the EU's zero-pollution objectives, and Head of the EHS Services Department, where a focus was placed on health and safety, environmental management, and crisis management. Previous experience includes serving as EHS Leader for GE in Japan and South Korea, and as Senior Project Manager at Enhesa, managing international EHS consulting projects. Yuko's educational background includes a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Yale School of the Environment and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Yokohama National University.
