Danny Lawrence Bem Bcac

Danny Lawrence BEM BCAc has extensive experience in public service and community radio. Since May 2012, Danny has served as a Council Member for Basildon Borough Council, holding roles such as Deputy Mayor three times, Vice Chair of Housing, and Chairman of Licensing from May 2022 to May 2024. Danny is a patron of Bhr 1287 and Sheppey Matters, and has been an Executive Director and a member at Gateway 97.8 since March 2016 and January 2007, respectively. Further involvement includes roles as Chairman and Director at Radio Academy Trading Ltd, Community Media Association, and previous experience as a presenter/producer at Garrison Radio from January 2008 to September 2010. Danny specializes in problem solving, grant advice, funding strategies, broadcast application guidance, mentorship, and training, aimed at supporting others in the community radio sector throughout the UK.
