John Oguntimehin

John Oguntimehin is an experienced GIS and data professional with a diverse background in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a GIS and Data Project lead at Basildon Borough Council since September 2019, John has previously held positions including GIS and Data Consultant at pGNOSIS, GIS Specialist at McDermott International Inc., and GIS Analyst at CVU/TFL. With early experience as a Project Support GIS Analyst, Project Support (GIS), and Business Support GIS Officer, John has developed extensive expertise in the GIS field since starting as a GIS Analyst at Chevron in 2002. Academically, John holds a Doctorate in Data Science from the University of East London, a Master's Degree in GIS with Remote Sensing from the University of Greenwich, and a Master of Science in Geoinformatics from the University of Lagos.
