Jonathan Henley

Jonathan Henley has over two decades of experience in emergency planning and management, currently serving as the Emergency Planning and Business Continuity Advisor at Basildon Borough Council since February 2014. Jonathan has held various roles within the organization, including Acting Up as Emergency Planning and Business Continuity Advisor and previously as Emergency Planning Officer. Prior experience includes a comprehensive tenure at Home Retail Group PLC in positions such as Store Services Manager and Regional Profit Protection Advisor for Homebase. Jonathan's educational background includes a Master of Science in Hazard & Disaster Management from Kingston University and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science from Brunel University London, alongside ongoing professional development at the Cyber Management Alliance and the Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College.
