Sorna Lingam

Sorna Lingam is an experienced visual effects professional currently serving as a Compositing Supervisor at Basilic Fly Studio since September 2023. Previously, Sorna held the position of 2D Compositing Supervisor at DNEG from May 2018 to August 2023, contributing to notable projects such as "The Gilded Age" and "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power." Earlier roles include Lead Compositor on high-profile titles like "Dark Crystal Age Of Resistance," "Devs," and "No Time To Die" at various companies including MPC and Double Negative. With a solid foundation in visual communication, Sorna graduated from Madras Christian College in 2005 and has built a diverse career spanning over 15 years in the visual effects industry.
