Melissa Streit

Melissa Streit has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Melissa is currently the Director of Engagement at the Basilica of Saint Mary, starting in January 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of the Minnetonka Public Schools Foundation from September 2014 to December 2019. Melissa also has experience as a self-employed professional, focusing on events, donor relations, and data management from July 2009 to August 2014. Melissa was the Major Giving Director at Jeremiah Program from August 2007 to July 2009. Earlier in their career, Melissa worked at the Basilica of Saint Mary as the Assistant to the Managing Director and later as the Development Manager from January 2005 to August 2007 and September 2003 to January 2005, respectively. Melissa was the Director of Development at the Church of the Ascension from September 2001 to August 2003. Melissa's work experience began at the Basilica of Saint Mary as a Special Events Coordinator from September 1997 to August 2001.

Melissa Streit obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology from Tulane University, attending from 1990 to 1994.
