Tony Chan has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology. Tony began their career in 1995 as a System Administrator at Pfizer. In 2002, they became the IT Support Engineer and Team Lead for Eastern United States and Canada at BEA Systems. In 2008, Tony moved to Oracle as a Principal Executive Support Engineer. In 2018, they joined Basin Holdings, where they have held the roles of Director of Information Technology, Information Technology Manager, Senior System Administrator, and Systems Administrator. In these roles, Tony has provided white-glove concierge technical services, managed and led technical initiatives, evaluated risk, and performed rigorous testing on new hardware.
Tony Chan graduated from New York University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems Management. Tony has since obtained several certifications, including a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in July 2021, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in April 2021, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in October 2020, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in May 2020, and a CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in March 2001.
