Ben Wyatt

Mr. Wyatt joined Basin in 2019 and assists in the company’s financial efforts. As VP of Finance, Mr. Wyatt’s responsibilities include financial modeling, transaction analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, banking, cash management, hedging, debt structuring and investor relations.

Prior to joining Basin, Mr. Wyatt was the Director of Finance for Matador Resources. In this role, Mr. Wyatt assisted in financial planning, transaction analysis, corporate strategy and investor relations. Prior to Matador Resources, Mr. Wyatt helped lead the Exploration and Production Equity Research practice as Senior Vice President at Stephens Inc., Mr. Wyatt performed detailed financial modeling, met regularly with executive management teams and developed relationships with private and institutional investors. Mr. Wyatt began his career at Regions Bank in the Private Banking Department.

Mr. Wyatt graduated with a B.S.B.A in Finance from the University of Arkansas and an M.B.A. in Finance and Investments from Texas Christian University.
