Russ Talley

Russ Talley has extensive experience in the geoscience and land management sectors. Currently serving in a land role at Valor since March 2022, Russ previously worked at Cawley, Gillespie & Associates, Inc. from November 2017 to December 2021. Prior positions include Engineering Technician IV at Forestar Group Inc. and various roles at Range Resources from June 2007 to June 2014, including Geoscience Data Manager and Senior Geoscience Technician, where Russ supported geologists and geophysicists and managed geological and geophysical databases. Russ began a career in the field as a Geologist at DTE Energy, participating in all aspects of a Barnett Shale drilling program, and also held the position of Sr. Geoscience Technician at Quicksilver Resources Inc. Russ holds a degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.
