Ed Tackenberg, CPA has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Ed currently holds the position of VP Corporate Controller at Basin Street Properties since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at FPI Management as a Controller from January 2021 to November 2022, where they also served as an Assistant Controller from September 2016 to January 2021. In these roles, they supervised accountants, reviewed financial statements for numerous entities, and was the primary contact for large clients. Before joining FPI Management, Ed worked as an Accountant at First Data Corporation from March 2014 to July 2014, where they performed account reconciliations and conducted revenue and expense analysis. Prior to that, they served as a Server at Benchmarc Restaurants by Marc Murphy from April 2007 to July 2014, where they communicated with corporate event managers and oversaw logistics for private functions. Ed's earlier experience includes working as an Assurance Intern at Marcum LLP from February 2012 to May 2012, where they reviewed financial statements and drafted client engagement letters.

Ed Tackenberg, CPA has a strong education background in the field of accounting. Ed obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting from Baruch College from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology at Hofstra University from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their educational achievements, Ed Tackenberg also holds a CPA certification obtained from the California Board of Accountancy in September 2018.
