Sara Benefiel

Sara Benefiel, CPA, currently serves as the VP, Corporate Controller at SugarCRM, a company specializing in AI-driven customer relationship management solutions, since July 2025. Previously, Sara held the position of Controller at Scaled Agile, Inc. from July 2017 to July 2025, contributing to the company's status as a leading provider of business agility frameworks. Additional experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Doreen Katz Memorial Cancer Foundation from December 2011 to December 2019 and working in various finance roles at EcoSys, Gevo Inc., and MarkWest Energy Partners, LP. Sara's career began with an auditor position at Arthur Andersen after earning a BS and MaCC in Accounting from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business from 1997 to 2000.
