Josiah Wagoner

Josiah Wagoner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Josiah is currently employed at BASIS Independent Schools, where they hold the position of Head of School since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Head of School from July 2020 to June 2021. From June 2019 to July 2020, they worked as the Director of Primary Program. Before joining BASIS Independent Schools, Josiah worked as the Dean of Students from July 2018 to July 2019 and as a 1st Grade Learning Expert Teacher from July 2017 to July 2018.

Before their work in the education sector, Josiah worked at Education Designers as a Senior Project Manager, Managing Editor, Author, and Designer from March 2014 to July 2017. Josiah also served as an Assistant Professor of English Education at Mokwon University from March 2014 to August 2016.

Josiah's earlier experiences include working as a 5th Grade Teacher at Daejeon Sahmyook Elementary School from August 2012 to August 2013 and as a Teacher of English as a Second Language at Goejeong High School from August 2010 to August 2012.

Josiah's career started in the hospitality industry, where they worked as a Guest Service Manager and Front of House Manager at Ruby Tuesday from August 2009 to August 2010. Josiah also taught English at Wat Salapoon Temple School as an English Teacher from May 2007 to August 2007. Josiah Wagoner began their education at Zionsville Community High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma from the years 2001 to 2005. Josiah then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Sociology at Cornell College, completing their studies from 2005 to 2009. Continuing to further their education, Josiah enrolled at Ashford University in 2011 and completed a Master of Arts degree in Education, specializing in Reading Literacy in 2012.
