Mark York

Mark York is an experienced Physical Education Teacher at BASIS Independent Schools since September 2015, where classes are structured to facilitate learning through physical activity. In addition, Mark has served as the Boys Head Coach at New Heights Youth, Inc. since June 2014, responsible for organizing team practices, travel schedules, and supporting student-athletes both academically and athletically, while providing motivation and feedback during games. Mark also held the position of Summer Academy Athletic Director, teaching various aspects of basketball, including its history, healthy eating, and fitness. Mark York holds two Bachelor's degrees from Lincoln University, one in Mass Communication/Media Studies and another in Broadcast Journalism, and graduated from Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School with a high school diploma in 2010.
