Sumita Baljee

Sumita Baljee is an experienced educator with a robust background in mathematics instruction and curriculum design. Currently serving as a Subject Adviser at BASIS Independent Schools since July 2016, Sumita focuses on planning and executing syllabi, designing curriculum scope, writing examinations, and enhancing student performance through data analysis. Previously, as a Subject Expert Teacher in Mathematics, Sumita developed engaging lessons, diagnosed learning abilities, and conducted remedial sessions tailored to individual needs. With earlier roles including Student Faculty at the Center for Indian Classical Dances and Coordinator and Teacher at Delhi Public School, Sumita's expertise extends to mentoring, teacher training, and promoting critical thinking in students. Sumita holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women and a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics from the University of Lucknow.
