Alison Creagh AM CSC is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in various high-level positions across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Committee Member for the High-Performance Committee at Basketball Australia and a Director-at-Large for the Oceania Paralympic Committee, Alison also holds directorship roles with Rowing Australia, GME, and the Hospital Research Foundation Group. Additionally, Alison is a Trustee of the Commando Welfare Trust and played significant roles within Paralympics Australia, including President and Vice President. Notably, Alison serves as Vice President for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Organising Committee and has been involved with the Veterans Film Foundation and the Veteran Community Business Chamber. An esteemed academic, Alison has earned multiple degrees and honors, including a Doctor of Business (honoris causa) from UNSW and GAICD designation from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Basketball Australia
Basketball Australia is the governing and controlling body for the sport of basketball in Australia. A not-for-profit business, Basketball Australia’s members are the eight state and territory basketball associations. Basketball Australia manages elite high performance teams including national teams (Boomers and Opals) and elite competitions including the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) and annual national Australian Junior Championships. Basketball is an Olympic and Paralympic sport and shares one of the highest international profiles. Basketball Australia manages 19 national teams which compete in Olympic and Paralympic Games and FIBA World Championships.
