Electrolyte process engineer at BASQUEVOLT

Ciprian Negoescu has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ciprian started their career as a Junior Web Developer at Arhipelago from February 2006 to October 2010. After that, they worked as a Process Engineer at Purolite Corporation from August 2012 to May 2015. Ciprian then joined the University of Birmingham as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from September 2018 to March 2019.

In 2019, Ciprian joined Aquapak Polymers Ltd as a Chemical Process Engineer, where they were responsible for leading extensive product and process improvement projects. Their role also involved designing plant equipment, including heat and mass balance calculations, pressure drop calculations, and selection of instrumentation. Ciprian also scaled up processes from formulation to production. Ciprian worked at Aquapak Polymers Ltd until May 2023.

Currently, Ciprian is employed at BASQUEVOLT as an Electrolyte Process Engineer, starting in May 2023.

Ciprian Negoescu completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași from 2004 to 2009. Ciprian then pursued a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the same university from 2009 to 2012. Afterward, they attended the University of Birmingham and obtained their second PhD in Chemical Engineering from 2015 to 2018.
