Annie Batcheller

Corporate & Securities Associate at Bass, Berry & Sims

Annie Batcheller has diverse work experience, starting from their current role as a Corporate & Securities Associate at Bass, Berry & Sims since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Hardwick Fellow at the University of Tennessee College of Law from August 2020 to June 2021. Annie also had summer associate positions at Bass, Berry & Sims, Baker Donelson, and Egerton, McAfee, Armistead & Davis, where they gained valuable legal experience. Moreover, they served as a Pro Bono Fellow at Baker Donelson in May and June of 2019. Annie's early work experiences include being a Teacher's Aide at the University of Notre Dame from August 2015 to May 2018. Additionally, they interned at the Office of Governor Bill Haslam, the House of Commons, and the Office of Senator Bob Corker, contributing to their understanding of government and public service.

Annie Batcheller pursued their education chronologically, starting with obtaining a High School Diploma from Knoxville Catholic High School from 2010 to 2014. Annie then enrolled at the University of Notre Dame for their undergraduate studies, completing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science with minors in Business & Economics and Studio Art from 2014 to 2018. Currently, Annie is furthering their education at the University of Tennessee College of Law, where they are a candidate for a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, a program they have been a part of since 2018 and is expected to complete in 2021.
