Scott Abramowitz is the managing partner at Bassett Capital Group. Scott has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on credit cards and retail banking.

Scott began their career at Huntington National Bank, where they eventually became the SVP, Director - Head of Retail & Commercial Card Services. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic direction and P&L performance for the credit card business. Scott led over 40 business professionals and multiple teams in a cross matrix environment.

During their time at Huntington, Scott built and executed the 5-year credit card strategic and operational plans that delivered over $75MM in NIBT. Scott also negotiated, executed, and managed vendor contracts/relationships worth over $200MM with TSYS, First Data, MasterCard, ZOOT, Equifax, Trans Union, FICO, Argus, Innovis and LexisNexis to support the Huntington card business.

In January 2019, Scott joined Kasasa as the EVP Product Management. In this role, they were responsible for securing, negotiating, and managing the strategic issuing bank and network partnerships and building out the platforms and infrastructure for the Kasasa co-branded credit card programs.

Scott has a proven track record of success in developing loyalty & emerging payment strategies (EMV, mobile, Tokenization, Apple Pay/Samsung Pay, 2-way fraud alerts, Secure Code, MasterPass, Merchant Funded Rewards, Hybrid card, Zelle) & establishing strategic business partnerships to advance these initiatives.

Scott Abramowitz graduated with a MBA in marketing and management from Iona University. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, where they earned a BSBA in finance and accounting.
