Brian Claspell

Brian Claspell is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in leading information technology operations across various industries. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc. since 2019, Brian previously held the position of Division Information Technology Executive at GNC from 2014 to 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing IT operations for Nutra Manufacturing and Supply Chain. Prior to GNC, Brian was Director of IT Solutions at Lowe's Home Improvement, managing diverse application portfolios, and spent over a decade at Kraft Foods Group as a Global Information Technology leader. Brian began a career in IT as a Project Manager/Developer at Discover Financial Services, contributing to the design and re-engineering of accounting systems. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Illinois Chicago and a BA in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
