Project Solutions Representative at Bassett Mechanical

Kyle Powers has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kyle started their career as a Campus Sustainability Liaison at the University of Wisconsin - Madison's Office of Sustainability, where they designed and implemented a recycling guide and collaborated on sustainability certification processes. Kyle then worked as an Engineering Assistant at Firebrick Engineers, where they utilized design software and managed inventory. Kyle later served as a Graphic Design and Materials Development Intern at the Wisconsin Energy Institute.

In 2017, Kyle ventured into photography and started their own business, Kyle Powers Photography, as a Professional Photographer. Simultaneously, they also worked as an Application Engineer Co-op at Greenheck, where they contributed to costing analysis, financial spreadsheet development, and won the Greenheck Innovation Challenge.

Kyle continued their journey at Greenheck by taking on the role of an Application Engineer, providing technical expertise to external customers, analyzing competitor products, and identifying opportunities for product improvement. Kyle also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern with the GPS Core Team at Greenheck, gaining valuable experience in the manufacturing field.

Additionally, Kyle has demonstrated a passion for community development and social impact. Kyle served as an Administrative Intern at UpTica, where they focused on creating alternative income sources and learning experiences for women in rural communities in Costa Rica.

Most recently, Kyle joined Bassett Mechanical as a Project Solutions Representative in 2022.

Kyle Powers received their GED from Marquette University High School between the years 2009 and 2013. Kyle then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Geological/Geophysical Engineering and Geosciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they completed between 2013 and 2018.
