Patrick Newman

Patrick Newman is a Shareholder and Attorney at Bassford Remele since February 2017, where Patrick serves as Co-Chair of the Consumer Law Defense Practice Group and the firm's Recruiting Committee. Previously, Patrick held roles as Secretary and Treasurer and Board Member at the Great Lakes Credit and Collection Association from May 2022 to March 2024, focusing on educational programming for ARM professionals. Prior to Bassford Remele, experience includes defending major financial institutions at Moss & Barnett, P.A., serving as an Associate and gaining courtroom experience at Messerli & Kramer, and various legal clerk positions, including work with bankruptcy trustee John A. Hedback. Patrick Newman holds a JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
