Marlyne Nitunga

Marlyne Nitunga is an accomplished undergraduate student at Whitman College, pursuing a degree in Economics and expected to graduate in 2025. Currently serving as a Basta Fellow at BASTA, Marlyne participates in a comprehensive fellowship program for first-generation college students. Marlyne has gained diverse experience through various roles, including Human Resources Student Assistant, Reid Campus Center Building Manager, and Secretary of the Global Whitties club, focusing on event organization and community building. Additionally, Marlyne has served as a Student Archive Assistant, Box Office Student Assistant, and Student Orientation Intern, showcasing skills in archival research, event management, and student support. As an Operations Consultant Intern at DIFFvelopment and a participant in Goldman Sachs' 2023 Virtual Insight Series, Marlyne is also engaged in professional development in investment through Girls Who Invest. Marlyne graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma from UWC Dilijan College in 2021.
