Shakira Twigden is an experienced design professional currently serving as Design Director at Bastion Shine since November 2023. Previously, Shakira held the role of Design Director at Lucky Generals from May 2019 to December 2022 and also served as Head of Design (temporary) at the same company from January 2016 to April 2016. Shakira has freelance experience as a Graphic Designer in London, collaborating with notable agencies such as Droga5, VCCP, Grey, and Wieden + Kennedy between January 2015 and June 2015. Earlier career positions include Graphic Designer at Colenso BBDO from May 2012 to December 2014, Graphic Designer at TKO Design from October 2011 to May 2012, and Designer at Closet NZ Ltd from April 2010 to October 2011. Shakira holds a Bachelor of Graphic Design from Auckland University of Technology, completed in 2009.
