Aakash Koparkar

Aakash Koparkar has extensive experience in various roles within the retail industry. Aakash began their career in 2008 with Arvind Limited as a Management Trainee and later served as a Concept Manager. In 2009, they joined Raymond Limited as an Executive in Retail Operations. In 2011, they moved to Bata India Limited as a District Manager. Aakash then worked with PT Sepatu Bata Tbk. for a brief period as a Retail and Marketing Adviser. Aakash returned to Bata India Limited in 2013 and held multiple positions including Assistant Retail Manager, Retail Manager, Business Manager to President Asia South, General Manager for Retail West and Retail South, and most recently AVP/Lead for Franchise Business and Retail Development. Aakash has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the retail industry throughout their career.

Aakash Koparkar holds a postgraduate degree in Retail Management from Welingkar Institute of Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Fashion Retail & Merchandising Management from Nottingham Trent University. Additionally, Aakash has obtained certifications in Working with Data for Effective Decision Making, Cultivating Cross-functional Team Collaboration, and Becoming an Effective Cross-functional Team Member from Skillsoft, which were obtained in 2023.
