Ellen Shannon-Ball

Ellen Shannon-Ball brings extensive experience in both education and military operations, currently serving as a Job Coach at Parents Alliance Employment Project since February 2024, focusing on training and support for individuals with disabilities. Since August 2013, Ellen has also worked as an Early Childhood Education Substitute Teacher/Paraprofessional for Batavia Public School District 101, providing tailored educational support to students with special needs. Ellen's military career includes significant leadership roles in the US Army, such as Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer and Hospital Commander, where responsibilities ranged from facilitating interagency coordination for disaster response to providing comprehensive medical care. Ellen holds a Master's degree in Adult Counseling and Higher Education from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University.
