Firas Awad is an accomplished eCommerce professional with extensive experience in digital strategy and business management across prominent companies in the GCC region. Currently serving as the Director of Ecommerce at Bateel International since June 2025, Firas has demonstrated a strong capability in driving profitability and developing strategic plans. Previously, as the Head of Ecommerce at Marina Home Interiors, Firas led significant growth initiatives, including a new e-commerce platform that boosted revenues by over 12%. Firas's career began at Chalhoub Group, where progression through key roles from Division Manager to Purchase Admin showcased expertise in sales strategy, inventory management, and operational excellence. Firas holds a Master's degree in International Business from the University of Wollongong and a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
