Karim Haroun

Karim Haroun has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Karim started their career as an Assistant Financial Manager at Arabia Engineering and Contracting from September 2006 to September 2009. Karim then worked as a Semi Senior Auditor/Consultant at Deloitte and Touche M.E from September 2009 to December 2011, leading teams on audit assignments and internal control reviews. From January 2012 to June 2013, they served as a Senior Internal Auditor at MTN. In 2013, they joined Protiviti Middle East Member Firm as a Senior Consultant until April 2015. Karim then moved to stc Bahrain where they held various roles such as Sales Operations Manager from April 2015 to January 2017, Enterprise Operation Director (A) from January 2017 to December 2018, and Digital PMO from January 2019 to August 2021. Currently, they are working as the Director of Strategy and Operations at Batelco starting from August 2021.

Karim Haroun has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Banking from Arab International University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. In 2017, they completed the High Impact Leadership Program at INSEAD. In 2019, they attended Georgetown University McDonough School of Business for a FinTech Certificate Program. Recently, Karim obtained a certification in "Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption" from INSEAD in 2021.
