Arend Guijt

Arend Guijt is an experienced IT executive currently serving as CIO at Batenburg Techniek N.V. since January 2022, with a concurrent role as an independent consultant and interim IT manager at Pythia since April 2016. Prior CIO roles include Meton Food & Chemicals from January 2019 to December 2021 and Deli Maatschappij between January 2003 and March 2016. Arend also held the position of Business Development Manager at NV Deli Universal from November 1996 to December 2002 and worked as an IT Consultant at PAC Business Systems from January 1991 to October 1996. Earlier experience includes research on organization and information management for Gemeente Rotterdam in 1990 and an internship focused on application development at Shell in 1989. Arend completed the International Executive Program at INSEAD in 2001 and earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology in 1990.
