Our History: In 1985 things began in a very spartan manner being run from a small residence in the Town & Country section of Tampa Florida. The 2 car garage doubled as the company warehouse. The office was in an addition at the back of the house. In 1986, a small 1,000 square foot storage facility was rented on John's Rd. to serve as the new warehouse. The office was still run from the house in Town & Country. In 1988, the office and warehouse were once again reunited at 5452 W. Crenshaw Blvd. A 1,500 square foot space was Bates Electric Service Vehicle leased with a small office in the front and a warehouse in the rear. In 1989 we moved again, this time to 5480 Jet Port Industrial Blvd in the Northwest Commerce Park. A space of 2,400 square feet was leased for a period of three years. After the lease was up, the space next door was added to the new lease to make the Bates headquarters an eye-popping 4,800 square feet! In 1996 we purchased a beautiful 12,000 square foot building in Tampa West & moved in. Then in 2007 we added another 12,000 square feet by purchasing the building next door. We currently reside in 24,000 square feet of space on Hopi Place in Tampa, Florida!
